Day 02 Kuala Lumpur
Morning city tour includes the major historical landmarks King’s Palace, National Monument, National Museum and Merdeka (Independence) Square. Driving through Chinatown you’ll have a glimpse of the old Kuala Lumpur with hawkers selling foodstuffs and clothing. Bargain to your heart’s content!

Day 03 Kuala Lumpur/Kota Kinabalu
Depart flight Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu. Check into your deluxe resort hotel. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 04 Kota Kinabalu
Morning city tour. The rest of the day is at leisure. |

Day 05 Kota Kinabalu/Sandakan/Sepilok
Flight to Sandakan/Sepilok. Drive to the forest reserve to visit the Orangutan Sanctuary; the center is dedicated to returning orphaned and captive orangutans to the wild. You’ll see other protected wild animals in Sepilok including Malay sun bears, baby elephants, wild cats and crocodiles. Late afternoon return to Sandakan for dinner and overnight.

Day 06 Sandakan/Turtle Island
Morning boat ride to Turtle Island; see Green and Hawksbill turtles coming ashore to lay their eggs. (A professional ranger will accompany you to watch this unique phenomenon.) Dinner and overnight at the local lodge. |

Day 07 Turtle Island/Sandakan/Kuala Lumpur
Return to Sandakan by boat; afternoon flight to Kuala Lumpur; meeting and transfer to your deluxe hotel. |
