Day 01 Singapore/Paris
Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Paris,France. Arrival in Paris. Check into your hotel. In the afternoon there's time to rest or start exploring the lively

Day 02 PARIS-HONFLEUR-DEAUVILLE
An interesting journey today with a first stop in Giverny, home of painter Claude Monet and its famous garden. Next a stop in lovely Honfleur and overnight in the world famous seaside resort of Deauville. (B,D)

Day 03 DEAUVILLE-LANDING BEACHES-MONT ST. MICHEL
This morning visit the nearby legendary beaches of Normandy, where the Allied troops landed more than 50 years ago. The highlights are Arromanches and the American Cemetery at Omaha. Next to Bayeux, famed for its lace-making and the world-renowned Bayeux Tapestry (included visit.) Then southwards to the unique beauty of Mont St. Michel, which stands on an island reached by a causeway. (B)

Day 04 MONT ST. MICHEL-CHATEAUBRIANT-TOURS
Time to enjoy Mont St. Michel before driving by way of Chateaubriant, famed for its castle, southeast to Angers for a brief stop to visit its cathedral. Then to the banks of the Loire to Tours for overnight. (B,D) |

Day 05 CHATEAUX COUNTRY
A whole day to take advantage of the optional program of excursions: visit the Chateau of Cheverny, still inhabited by the family of Marquis de Vibraze, and the huge Castle of Chambord built in 1519 by Francis I; view Chateau Menars; admire the beauty of the great Chateaux of Chenonceaux and Amboise. Day 06 TOURS-FONTAINEBLEAU-PARIS Drive to Orlns for a short stop to take your picture of the statue of Joan of Arc. Next the highlight of the day a visit of the Palace of Fontainebleau, one of France's greatest architectural and historical palaces. Reach Paris well in time to enjoy the optional cabaret show. (B)

Day 07 PARIS
One full day to explore the city that's known throughout the world for its fashions, art and museums, delicious food, and joie de vivre. Included sightseeing with a local expert starts with an inside visit to Notre Dame Cathedral. Then many of the best-known Parisian sights: La Sorbonne, Arc de Triomphe,
Opra, Madeleine, the Eiffel Tower, the Pyramid near the Louvre, the Invalides, and Champs Elysses... Optional excursions are also available to the palace and gardens of Versailles, and to celebrate the success of your tour, a French farewell dinner might be just the ticket. (B) |
